Comfort Inn Paramus-New York

We decided to stay at this comfort in pre Cruise because of location for great shopping and distance to Manhattan and because of Google 4.5 reviews. The staff were very friendly. The overall cleanliness was good. I will just say this hotel feels like a 70’s hotel that has had mediocre upgrades over the years. My room on the 2nd floor was clean however appeared to be past water damage on ceiling and exterior wall with wrinkled wallpaper and poorly patched roof. Other than this the room was good. The breakfast for the two mornings we were there was identical. Grits scrambled eggs and sausage patty’s that were more like grind beef not sausage. If you don’t mind a totally carby breakfast eating bagels, toast, waffles then you’ll like the breakfast. Would I stay here again, probably, unless I c

Very comfortable room with all amenities. Superb, friendly desk staff. Check-in, check out (with late departure allowed), beautiful bathroom, great shower, comfortable bed, what more could a person need? We were able to use our points for the stay. We will be back for sure.

Very clean hotel, very friendly front desk. The internet cuts out in the night, completely. I would sign back in, but nothing. I listen to talks while I sleep as I wake a lot. The internet was a no show. Also, breakfast was very plain, no bacon, just the sausage patties and eggs. Coffee was not the best and no real half and half. However, I'd stay again, fair price for clean rooms and a, gray location with free parking.

Positive: Location is good, right off the highway. Negative: It is a decent hotel for the price, but could use some upgrades, and the breakfast wasn’t kept hot enough.

My son and granddaughter having been staying here every other weekend for 11 years, we join them several times a year. Wonderful staff who welcome us and make us feel at home. Great breakfast, quiet rooms, easy access from side roads in back to avoid rt 17
