The location is fantastic if you need to be in Turtle Bay (Midtown East). The neighborhood is pretty safe (by NYC standards, which doesn't say much)||The staff was VERY friendly.||My room was on the 14th floor and I was surprised that I didn't hear a ton of road noise, but I do bring earplugs when staying in NYC. Overall, the place is in need of an overhaul.||My room was an ADA room so I suspect that's why it was larger than most, as NYC hotel rooms are famously slightly larger than a shoe box. So that was nice...........BUT it was the DARKEST hotel room I've ever stayed in!||When you walk in the closet is on the right & the door to the bathroom on the left. Just past the closet was a sconce that was fairy high up and was a soft light. That was it. No ceiling light. The only other lights

We paid about $2,300 for two rooms for three nights and booked Deluxe rooms, but only one room was actually a Deluxe, while the second one was a standard room, which was very disappointing. For this price, there is not even breakfast included. The rooms feel old and outdated, and the bathroom is extremely small and uncomfortable. Overall, the hotel does not match the price at all.For this amount of money, you can definitely find much better options in New York. I would not recommend this hotel at this price level.

We had an extremely disappointing and uncomfortable experience at this hotel. My friend booked two rooms using an employee discount because her father works for Marriott and provided the required printed verification form. At check-in, the front desk agent, Charisse, immediately accused us of using fraudulent documentation. She refused to even look at additional proof, would not allow us to contact mt friends father or his employer to verify his employment, and questioned whether he even worked for the company. She also made an inappropriate comment implying that we might not be able to “afford” the stay. Without giving us an opportunity to clarify anything, she canceled both of our reserved rooms and told us we would not be allowed to make another reservation there again. After explain

It’s an old building, and the rooms are not exactly how they look in the photos. But, it’s good price for the amount of space that you get. Service is hit or miss depending on the staff that attends to you, and there’s no bell service which is fine. I particularly liked the spacious lounge they let guests use 24/7 on the 12th floor — just a good space to get together if you have a big group staying in separate rooms. Location is great, near subway station, and has a Duane Reade that has everything you will need just downstairs by the hotel’s entrance.

We arrived to the hotel at 11:30am. We reserved a suite because we needed 3 beds. They told me they checked me in, but the room wasn’t available yet (which was fine because it was very early)- so they stored our luggage. We arrived back to the hotel at 10pm. When we when to the desk to get our keys and luggage, we were informed that the room type wasn’t available so they moved us to a room with two beds. This does not work for my family…. We specifically booked the type of room that we needed. NOTHING else was offered to us. They provided us with ZERO options to have more than 2 beds. They already charged us for the suite. The representative at the desk said she couldn’t do anything. We were told we could talk to the manager the next day. So now we have paid for a suite, were given a re
