This hotel is a block over from my daughter’s apartment, so I’ve stayed here many, many times over the years. I have never had a bad experience at a Marriott hotel until here. First of all, you should know that there are two hotels on the same property. Pricing is very different, as the Residence rooms are little efficiencies and include breakfast for some of the room offerings. The courtyard rooms do not include a kitchen area, and although I have an upgrade, I also do not see a work desk. I usually stay in the residence rooms, so I can’t say whether or not this is typical of a courtyard room, or just my luck. Regardless, both properties have serious issues with their HVAC system. The room was adequate given the price range, albeit a little small. Location was good, with a short walk to the closest subway stations and very close to wall street and World Trade Center. The staff were professional although not particularly welcoming. Unfortunately, room service missed our room on two occasions of our 7 day stay. Probably won’t return on holiday, but it may be a good hotel for a short stay or a business trip.

Positive: Location, easy to find food or pharmacy nearby Negative: Our room was never cleaned! When we asked at the reception, the lady stated that house keeping only comes every 2 days! So we had to spend the day and night in a dirty room with dirty beds with my kids! Unacceptable for the amount spent per night!

I reserved two rooms for 11/24-11/27, the room sizes were no problem at all! The view was no problem. I had 2303 and 2403 (I'm pretty sure lol). The hotel staff were always nice. One person really stood out, his name was Donovan, he was a great representative for the hotel. The only annoying issue we experiences was that our AC (2403) was broken. We called the desk and they did quickly send someone up to look at it. He opened the unit, flipped a switch, it shut off, he closed it up, said "It will work fine now" and left. It came back on and never worked at all. Since the outside temps weren't that high and we weren't staying long, we just let it go. It would have been nice had it been comfortable though and maybe if someone had checked with us to confirm it was repaired, that would be gre
