Courtyard by Marriott Deptford

Stayed here recently and had items added to my bill that were not made by me or my spouse. Front desk refused to give me a copy of a signed receipt, transferred me to the manager, with " mailbox full" . I guess anyone can charge stuff to your room and you have to FIGHT to have bill adjustment. Also, this place has seen better days, mold in tub, ripped up furniture and wall paper. Definitely NOT what you would expect of a Marriott.

The staff here was truly amazing!! We booked for our wedding day including a conference room for getting ready and were blown away by how wonderful everything was. Our room was great and despite being the same “size” felt more spacious than other courtyard Marriotts of the same room style. The only thing to be mindful of is the signs out front are easy to miss and the noise from the road can be pretty loud. However, the fact that every person we interacted with was a friendly face and was just as delighted as we were to be part of our wedding day made up for the noise.

Positive: "" Negative: the staff was not flexible for checking in. We had a wedding to go to at 4:00 and we kindly asked for an early check in to get ready. Needless to say it was not provided and we had to use the restroom to get ready. We used the room from 1:00-5:00 am

Great looking hotel even with the renovations going on. The room was large and clean. The only issue was that the water was barely lukewarm but other than that we loved it and would come back to this location.

Person at checkin was miserable! The room was decent except mold in corner of shower. Breakfast was a disgrace! One person trying her hardest, taking orders then cooking then delivering meal. We waited an hour for breakfast. If you are not going to staff it then don’t sell it.
