Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Vinings/Galleria

We have stayed often at this hotel. It’s always clean and the bedding comfortable. However, the welcome is lukewarm at best. No smiles. No “welcome back”. Not what you expect from Marriott. This time our room which was supposed to have a city view, overlooked a rooftop with air conditioning units. We were not in the room that long, so I wasn’t overly concerned about the view. Then televisions did not work properly, there was a flashing red light “message” on the phone that would not clear and we had to cover it with a hat to sleep. We were missing a “do not disturb “ hang tag. I requested help twice with all three issues and finally after 10pm received the hang tag - thank you Priscilla! Other than that the other two problems were never addressed - except at check out with a half hear

I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Atlanta and if I could rate the best customer service in the world this property would be number 1. |Jeffrey at the front desk was a master at controlling the crowd and handling everything with care. Queen April was also great!! I saw her check families in also cook breakfast also hand deliver items to rooms also make drinks and put up holiday decorations and not miss a beat. Can’t forget nick as well and the nice ladies in house keeping. |Thank you for your hard work and great customer service.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We were greeted with a smile upon arrival and throughout our stay. As I entered the hotel it smelled really good. At first I thought it was some perfume but it was actually the lobby. I also liked that you had to use your key to access the elevator. The city views were amazing. Our overall experience was great!!

Jeffrey C and the other team members helped ensure a great experience from check-in through checkout. They were always friendly, professional and willing to help out with any question. The hotel has a great view and is in a convenient location as well. Although I did not use the pool, it appeared well kept as was the fitness center.

Love the city skyline view from the balcony! I only took off one star due to the oily handprints all over the bathroom walls. The finishing needs to be changed, or they need to incorporate actually cleaning the walls into their maintenance routine. Also, the tub didn’t drain that well. Other than that, the room & staff were nice!!
