Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Perimeter Center

The rooms were very clean and the carpet was new. The lobby was under renovation but there was still plenty of space to work or have a drink at the bar. The staff was also prompt and attentive. The property is older but well maintained and clean.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel EVER. All was fine until around 10:30 when my mom and I both started getting dizzy and having racing hearts. Someone in another room was smoking weed and it came through the vents of our room (it didn’t have the normal scent so we were both scared it was something worse for a minute. We packed up, went downstairs, and asked to change rooms. Everything was fine after that and we went to sleep no problem until we both woke up from a dead sleep to this time the traditional dead animal stench of weed and crazy symptoms like racing heart, heavy limbs, etc. AGAIN. They did offer to move us a second time but the fact it happened TWICE is insane and it could happen a third time and we were both too tired to pack up again because we were there for an Emory

It was peaceful with minimal outside noises. I checked in two nights before taking my nursing boards so that I could study away from my noisy house, and didn’t leave my room the entire time. Loved the balcony & leaving the door open during the day while studying, the large pull-out desk area & comfortable computer chair, lots of plug-ins and great Wifi reception. The bed was comfortable, everything was very tidy and clean, and the staff let me have my privacy. The pool was pretty & very tempting! As a woman alone in this area for the first time, it felt very safe coming in the afternoon and when leaving at 6am in the dark. DoorDash was easy to use from here, and they found my room no problem. Highly recommend for peace, business, or a family stay!

Conveniently located in Dunwoody. Plenty of restaurants and shopping around the area. The rooms are sufficient. Nice gym, outdoor pool, sizable bar/tables/dining area in the lobby, and even a guest laundry which was a nice surprise. The elevator near my room was out of order. I used the stairs, but the closest working elevator was far away. Good value. Everything you need is nearby.

This property fails to meet Marriott’s standards of hospitality, professionalism, and inclusivity. Management should urgently review staff conduct, customer service training, and overall guest experience. Based on our stay, I do not recommend this hotel, particularly for families or anyone expecting fair and respectful treatment.
