Courtyard by Marriott Anaheim Resort/Convention Center

TLDR; Comfortable and spacious room. Mile walk to Disneyland. $35 for parking, no free breakfast. Mediocre. We stayed here for a Disneyland trip. We've stayed at many of the hotels along Harbor Blvd, and this one is quite a bit back, almost in Garden Grove, and 1.2 miles from the entrance to Disneyland. We still walked there, but took an Uber back every evening. Room was nice, beds were comfortable. We're a family of 5, so we opt for a suite or two rooms, whenever we travel. We chose the suite with bunk beds. I loved the layout of the room for a family. Walls were thin, I prefer to stay on the top floor, but best they could do was third. I will start out by stating that I am a Marriott elite and may get better treatment than others who stay at the hotel.||tl;dr: If this hotel were closer to the parks, I would definitely stay here again.||The folks at the front desk were amazing. I have yet to have a better experience at an Anaheim hotel. Very helpful. The guy who checked me in also checked me out, and remembered me -- not something that I can say happens at many hotels.||I received an upgraded room, although it wasn't very helpful. The room had a separate area with a sleeper sofa, second television, and bunk beds. This was on the outside, with the window, so it was nice and dark in the main part of the room. Great location, very kind service! Clean rooms. My trip plans kept changing so I was booking additional nights daily, front desk was super helpful daily with updating keys and any questions with that.

We visited Disneyland and stayed at Courtyard Anaheim Resort. We were very impressed with the size of our room — it was incredibly spacious and very clean. The bathroom was also quite large, which made our stay even more comfortable. The location is perfect and very convenient to the parks, making it easy to walk back and forth. We highly recommend this hotel!

When we arrived they said the room we booked had plumbing issues so they were going to upgrade us. Which was no problem it was nice surprise to get an upgrade. Until we get to the room and realized it was two queen beds with a view of the parking lot. Our original booking was described as a king sized bed with a view. That doesn’t sound like an upgrade to me. So I believe they presented it as an upgrade to not cause upset. I expected better when I specifically booked a king sized bed with a view. It was a special occasion, so I was disappointed with how they handled our unexpected room change.
