Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, State College (Penn State Area), PA

The staff at this hotel are professional, kind, thoughtful, everything you would hope for but don’t always receive. As a frequent traveler I very much appreciate the accommodating and welcoming atmosphere. I would without a doubt recommend this hotel over and over again to anyone traveling in the State College/Penn State area. Comfortable and clean - thank you to all the staff for making my time away from home enjoyable and peaceful.

The check in process was quick we received water bottles and a small snack. The room was clean and spacious with enough storage space. All the amenities were working in the room. Our room was near the elevator but fairly quiet. We liked the lay out. There was a sitting area separate from the bedroom. Breakfast was standard but the area was clean and food was hot and the sitting area was open with plenty of seating. The front desk associates were friendly and efficient. They also shared a restaurant list that made choosing our dinner easy. There's ample parking spaces for guests and thankfully no extra charge. The hotel is close to Penn State.

I had a daughter that attended Penn state from 2018-2022 and another 2024 -present. We previously stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn but noticed a decline in both room quality and overall upkeep. Most importantly, the hotel manager we loved, Kendra, had moved to the Country Inn — and we happily followed her. Best decision we ever made! From the moment you’re greeted at the front desk, you can feel the difference. The staff, housekeeping, and overall service are exceptional. The rooms are spotless, the breakfast is amazing, and the ambience is outstanding. You truly get more than your money’s worth here. You simply can’t beat this hotel — we will absolutely be back!

A week ago, I arrived at the SCE Airport at approximately 6:49 pm. The hotel's white shuttle was there to meet and greet me. Chauffeured to the hotel within minutes. |All because, the night before arriving, I made a phone call and spoke to Bren at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson. Bren pleasantly arranged for the shuttle. |Upon arrival, with a sweet smile Lala meet me at the front desk. She welcomed me as if I were a returning guest. Lala wrote down the times that I would need transportation to the funeral home and back to the airport Wednesday for my return trip.|Amazingly, Giuseppe was the shuttle driver for both trips. We stayed here several times now. When it comes to a Country Inn & Suites, this one is well above average. Great and large rooms. Cookies, coffee, tea, and lemon water all day long, and an amazing pool and hot tub (that actually works). Staff is super nice too. A+ for this one!
