Best Western Plus University Park Inn & Suites

I come here at least one a month and everyone is always so nice. Breakfast is great!!! What I really LOVEEEE is that this is the only hotel I know that has black make up towels for us ladies. I love it!!!

Great stay at this very clean hotel. Visiting the area to see the Christmas lights in Altoona and Medical appointment in Williamsport. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Hotel was easy access to interstates and Penn State.

I frequently stay at this hotel, because it’s what my job is willing to pay for when I have to stay in this town. I’m not a fan. The beds are old, it feels like you’re sleeping in a groove that you can’t easily roll out of. The pillows are terrible. The only ones that have any level of support whatsoever feel like they are full of clumps/balls of stuffing. The wireless network is pretty terrible. If you’re up on the fourth floor, you’re just better off using your cell network with a hotspot It’s so bad. Also, recently they took all of the coffee makers out of the rooms, telling us that there’s a coffee maker in the lobby. When I asked why, I was told it was more sanitary. For starters, the coffee that comes out of those machines is terrible; it reminds me of the instant coffee machines at

Positive: Continuation from below: I called at 11:15 and got someone on the phone. I asked them to talk to ppl above us. The noise continued until I finally fell asleep at 11:30 so I don?t know if they addressed it. Negative: We checked in at 9:15 pm. From that time until 11:30 the ppl above were runnning around , yelling moving furniture. I called the front desk at 10:45 to complain and the phone rang and rang. I let it ring for a long time. No one answered.

Had some issues with Expedia, but the Manager Carl was incredibly helpful. Not only did he help us out, he was very kind and friendly. Having said all of this, I saw him working the desk one evening and then saw him again the next morning...13 hours later. Hard to find people like this...I hope the owners of this hotel know how lucky they are to have a quality employee like this. We will stay here again because of Carl.
