Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, St. Peters, MO

I have been staying at this hotel since July 15 due to flooding and damage in a duplex. For the most part the staff is awesome and personable. I will write a more Indepth review later, but if you want to stay in a clean place, with the owners right on the premises, treating guest like family, a great breakfast that's fresh and hot... this is your place. The owner even let me keep my belongings in a storage area including my bicycle - very kind. A great bang for the buck.

I only had 2 main issues and 1 small minor issue with our stay. The room i stayed in got up to 90° even tho i had the thermostat turned on cool and set at 72. When I first walked in the room after checking in the room was at 81° I fought with the thermostat till 2am when I finally managed to get both the thermostat and the unit on the window to start cooling down for me to be able to sleep. I know i could have went to the front desk but my grandma was already asleep and I didnt want to wake her. The other issue is the beds were kinda hard and not as comfortable as previous times ive stayed at one of your hotels. I guess a last one which isnt that big of a deal is the vending machine didnt take card and I was out of cash. Other than those 2 issues our stay was amazing. Breakfast was good,

Property was nice and well maintained. However, breakfast was not good. The eggs were cold and grainy. The sausage was cold. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy was refrigerator cold. Had to be put in a microwave to heat up. The orange juice was out. Another person told the staff about it and they just looked at them and was not refurbished while I was there. The cold food was not a result of it having been placed out for while as this was the very start of breakfast at 7 a.m. on a Sunday. The bananas were also brown

Both rooms need some work. The biggest issue was about bath tubs in both rooms. You cannot expect to cover whatever it was by painting. One in room 205 was a stain. Fan circulating room did not shot off when temperature reached setting. As a result cool air started to circulate. It was so obvious that bathroom door needed fresh paint. My opinion, this hotel does not meet the standard of Choice hotel that I come to expect..

I spend about 40 nights a year in hotels, locally, for work purposes. Don't waste your money on what you perceive to be higher-end hotels. It's all here for half the price. No drama, great responsive service, tons of parking, easy to access, extremely clean, comfortable high-end quality linens and furniture, air and heat that works great, quiet, and very high quality & high protein free breakfast. The coffee is STRONG AND FRESH. One other thing to note, and this may just be my own personal hangup. When I stay at a hotel, it annoys me greatly to see multiple staff sitting around on phones or talking. I am aware, as a business owner, that the cost of such waste is built into the price. Other local hotels are twice the cost-and loafing abounds. Everyone here is working and moving to serve g
