Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, San Diego North, CA

Went to the Breeders Cup so the location was amazing. We had an air conditioning problem and had to be moved twice but Saul at the front desk was so nice and granted us a free night for the inconvenience. The resto downstairs was very nice with the World Series on. The only criticism was the lack of staff in the resto. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. Can use a little updating for sure but all in all very worth it.

This property is how a hotel should be managed. From the friendly staff, to the service with a smile, to the breakfast and property, this is a great place to stay. I would encourage any GM from any Wyndham, choice hotels, IGH, etc. to learn from the GM John, and his staff Jacob, Jeremy, Cheyenne(apologies for spelling) on how to run a hotel, as I speak from some experience from family and friends having multiple hotels and properties. Do not hesitate to Book a stay here anytime!

Loved this place. This is in a quiet area near La Jolla and Carlsbad but so quiet. It's mostly office parks around so it's nice and quiet and tucked away. There's a starbucks across the parking lot, which is convenient. Bed was comfortable and the people at the desk were helpful and friendly.

Pros: This hotel has one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had in the U.S. The hot breakfast changes daily, which keeps things interesting, and they also provide almond milk for vegans and those who are lactose intolerant. The service was outstanding—truly the best I’ve experienced among U.S. chain hotels. I’m not sure how they recruit so many staff members with such great attitudes, but it really shows. We hosted a family reunion dinner there, and they kindly provided plates and silverware for us. The bedrooms are very clean with no unpleasant odors. The bathroom has a large counter space, which is especially convenient for ladies’ toiletries and makeup. The service was excellent, room was clean, great lighting and we loved the air conditioning. Breakfast was best continental breakfast I’ve ever had, we showed up in the last hour and everything was still fully stocked and hot, with lots of options. The little details were so nice. In the gym there was a fridge with eucalyptus and mint infused towels, which made it a spa-like experience. I always have a to-go water bottle and they not only have ice at the ice station, but a filtered water station so you can take ice cold water to go. This was an above average experience for the great price of the room. If you’re looking for a nice stay and safe environment this is a great option. 10/10
