Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Ocala Southwest

My husband and I stayed at the Country Inn & Suites, by Radisson at 3720 College Rd. in Ocala, on February 28th for our twenty fifth anniversary. We checked in around ten thirty p m and checked out the next morning at ten thirty a m. What should have been a simple overnight stay turned into the most upsetting hotel experience I've ever had. After checking in, I removed my diamond earrings and placed them in a specific spot in the room. I forgot to put them back in before checking out the next morning. I left them where I put them. Once I recalled leaving them behind I called the hotel front desk the same day as checking out. They advised me to call back the next day between 9 AM and 11. When housekeeping was available and confirmed that no one else had been in the room other than housekeep

The hotel was everything we needed for an overnight stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Although it is on a busy road near the highway, our room was quiet, and I am a light sleeper. The complimentary breakfast included waffles. The breakfast lady kept everything clean and stocked, and she was in such a happy mood. There are lots of restaurants nearby, including a Cracker Barrel. The location is ideal - we were in Disney EPCOT by 10. Will stay again when in the area.

Our stay at Country Inn & Suites in Ocala was great overall. The rooms were very clean (8/10), the beds were super comfortable, the A/C was ice cold, and there was hot water on demand for showers — which is always a plus. The complimentary breakfast was really good and well maintained. Everything looked clean and organized. The only downside was the hallway carpet. Walking to our room, there was a noticeable odor — you could tell the carpet has endured years of use. Inside the room, everything was clean, though there was a slight smell in the bathroom that could easily be fixed with a simple air freshener. Because of the hallway carpeting, I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars. Updating or modernizing the hallway floors would make a big difference. Overall, we had a great stay and would definite

We booked for two nights for a local event. First night woke up to a dog barking at 1:30 am. Then again at around 3-3:30 am. When the doors to the rooms close they slam. It's all you hear all morning and at night. Beds were comfy and the staff was very nice. Not a fan of the breakfast. I'm from FL and never tasted gravy like that before. Eggs had no flavor. Sorry for my honesty. We are heading to Daytona at the end of November. We were going to book with y'all but now rethinking.
