Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, New Braunfels, TX

The hotel is convenient, well operated and very clean. We are always amazed at how clean the lobby smells when we return each day. The beds are amazing and we love the extra pillows provided. We stay here exclusively. Angel and the rest of the employees are always there and ready to make our stay great.

We were very pleased with staff and facilities. Parking, security and overall stay was good. Room was clean and comfortable. Right on the freeway but room was quiet. Large selection at breakfast. Staff was motorcycle friendly. Some of the old reviews had us concerned it was a nice stay.||Only issue was no clothes hangers in closet for packed clothes

I stay at this location before and well, you get what you paid for. It wasn’t anything to complain about. However, this last time I stayed, the room I was given had an issue with air conditioning. I mentioned this to the receptionist and they put me in a different room. Now the second attempt wasn’t any better. Light fixtures in the room were out and there was a major leak in the middle of the room from someone leaving the fridge open. Fridge was iced over and there was water damage/mold on the cabinet meaning that it has been open for a while. To my dismay, I again requested a new room. Well third times a charm, air conditioning was good, fridge was not left open…though seeing dead little bugs that appear to be roaches were found in the restroom, not a good sight to see. I'm a Diamond member and stay over 50 to 60 nights in many choice hotel locations among our travels. On this particular visit to New Braunfels, Texas at the Country Inn & Suites I was never acknowledged as a Diamond member let alone a member at all. They're supposed to greet you in that manner when they bring up your name on your reservation. The woman that checked me in gave us a handicapped room and I had booked a standard King size room under my Choice Account. When I went to the desk after seeing the room to ask why I was given a handicapped room she said that's what I booked. I told her I absolutely did not book a handicapped room and it shows on my online reservation it was standard King. She couldn't give me another room as she didn't have one. If I could give them 0 I would. I checked in for a 2 night stay with my boyfriend, and after being in the room for less than an hour we discovered a dead bed bug on the bed. The TV had a line through it like someone had cracked the screen. Also there was a hole in the wall and the base boards were filthy. Would never recommend going there to my worst enemy. The only positive thing was the front desk staff was very helpful and understanding and issued us a refund.
