Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Ithaca, NY

I've stayed here twice due to the location.Good: cookie on arrival, bed was comfortable and clean, hot coffee in the morning. |The Bad: many Carpet stains. The suite area was dark, the furniture stained. The cabinet holding the fridge and microwave was missing 5 drawer hardware and looked hacked up. Room 203. The microwave wasn't working well. A stationary drape was pulled down. The TV remote was slow to use. The heat would not come on, only a/c. This place needs a complete refresh as many have noted. If you like old and stale, you'll love this place. Not worth the price even when discounted.

We stayed here last year and had no problems HOWEVER THIS YEAR WAS AWFUL. If you are staying here with a team I wouldn't ever recommend this hotel. We had a meeting room and in our contract they said they would take out the trash if we cleaned it up and put it in a central location. which we did. They then told us to clean and but locked the door so we couldn't get in and then proceeded to kick us out of that room after consulting multiple people at the font desk. However they said the manger made the decision, but they wouldn't let us speak with them and wouldn't return calls. And we had two rooms for late check out and they cancelled them an 1 hour before we were supposed to come back to the hotel form our event. Regular check out is at 12pm. The breakfast was good, also very nice that they have cookies in the evening. The staff was pleasant , the woman in charge of the breakfast room was especially good however the room could have been nice except for the furnishings. The dresser that contained the refrigerator had most of the handles on the drawers broken off and mismatched. There was an iron but no ironing board and the shampoo dispenser was broken off in the bathroom. I took picture when we arrived and showed them to the man at the desk. Also mentioned that to the person who checked us out. She said many if the rooms have that problem. Perhaps on the fix it list???? Meanwhile they should not rent out a room in disrepair.

Front desk was nice. He offered us cookies and hot drinks for that cold Ithaca weather. Room was spacious just had some scuff here and there. Plenty of space for parking. Breakfast was good had enough options for a quick bite. Would stay there again if needed.

This place could not have been better! Conveniently located near Ithaca College. A brand new facility with clean, neat rooms. Friendly, hospitable employees. Fast check-in and check-out. A delicious, nutritious breakfast with a fantastic selection. Good prices. Safe and quiet. Highly recommended!
