Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Detroit Lakes, MN

This was a very clean and well kept hotel. The front desk workers were friendly and helpful. The hot tub and indoor pool were great. There was a sauna as well but we did not use it. The breakfast was just ok. There were biscuits and gravy but the biscuits were cold and wrapped in Saran Wrap. There was no way to heat them up. The sausage gravy was good though. When we first arrived there was no sausage or pancake batter but those items were eventually replenished. It was snowing while we were there but there seemed to be little effort to shovel around the front entrance. The parking lot was partially plowed. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

We were so impressed with everything! So clean. Food was great. The people were amazing, kind and friendly. I had forgotten my very expensive camera in the room. It was turned in and when I called a few hours after checkout they said they had it! I was so thankful! I'll definitely be staying there again.

Very pleased with cleanliness of hotel. The breakfast was great and they had eggs without cheese! Great for people who cannot have dairy. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Pool was a hit with grandkids and open late.

The amount of rules and early end times in the hotel were the only turn off. We had to vacate the reserved meeting room at 8pm. First hotel I've stayed at that didn't allow anykind if drink in the pool area. Staff were all great.

My husband left his iPad at the hotel and it was several hours before we discovered that this had happened. When I contacted the hotel, I spoke with Stacey, the general manager, and she had informed me that it had been turned in, and that they would be willing to ship it to us and keep it safe in the meantime. We appreciated this so much and Stacey has been true to her word. Once we were able to send the shipping label, she packed and immediately took it to the UPS store. It is on its way to us now and we are so very appreciative for her thoughtfulness.
