Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Bismarck-Mandan

Pros: Location. Makes getting anywhere convienient. Cost: very affordable. Bed appeared clean. Chair in troom was really comfortable Appears they are attempting to give the hotel a refresh. The hotel staff was adequate. Cons: the door lock was broken. Bathroom was not clean. Toilet had "streaks" and bathroom floor had hair one it....quite a lot of hair. There was no conditioner in shower. Very small The continental breakfast was very weak. Old fruit, very few options. (McDs across the parking lot is a better choice) The wall appear to have been freshly painted, however the painters were not contentious--painted dripped all over carpets and floors. Smeared on trim, in the sink, etc. Looked very sloppy which impacts the overall feel. I would stay again if there weren't better options

I love Country Inn. Love them. But this stay? Had to be one of the worst. Loud beeping noise that went on all night long. Beds were at best a 2. The pillows were couch pillows, I would say smaller. The bathroom shower curtain had stains on it, looked like feces, no shampoo or conditioner or bath gel in the containers in the shower, and the shower had DEFINATLY not been cleaned. There was paint stains all over the floor, I think it was paint, maybe toothpaste. In the morning at breakfast the AIR was on in the eating area. It was -11 outside. My husband, who loves it cold, actually didn't finish his food because it was that cold and we went to McDonalds next door. The front desk employees were very courteous and nice. None of this was their fault. I did go out after trying to sleep f

Positive: The value is great. They have nice staff, a great breakfast and are currently updating the hotel. The room we were in was recently painted and had all new tile. My bed was comfortable. The price was also great. Negative: The mess from the workers who are fixing up the hotel.

$90! Night is not a motel 6.... not impressed. Automatic doors were broken you had to manually open them and they were HEAVY!!! While juggling your suitcases and other items. Meanwhile is below 0 outside. My first room 208 was not cleaned when I arrived (after 3pm) and 211 was not much better. Photos are of 211. Paint everywhere, stains on couches and chairs, open bar of soap in the bathroom shower, dust everywhere. I think they are "trying" to update but looks like they hired 5 year olds to do the painting and tiling. If you are of any bit plus size, I do not recommend the bathrooms. The door hits the shower and there is no room to get ready. Housekeeping interrupted 2 of my video calls..... kept knocking and its only 1030 not 11! Not the worst room but not the best. Room smelled musty and felt dirty, but does look like they are doing construction, which they do at all times of the day, even weekends, so hope you don't sleep past 8 because the sound of chiseling tile out is unnerving TV only got about 10 stations with no local ones, so not a lot of fun when you are stormed in They did a pool cleaning at 11 am on Saturday saying the pool would open that night, still closed the next day. Tub/shower was clogged so wouldn't drain while talking a shower Breakfast was cold, soggy and not the best tasting. Rooms were quiet at night, so that was a plus Was also close to a grocery store, McDonald's, and things like that. Staff was ok, but instantly shut our room keys off when they saw us loading our car at 9 am. Prob
