Could be much better than it is. Our room felt a bit dingy and stale. Hair in the hot tub that weren't cleaned well. I cleaned it and we made the best of it. Flat pillows, worn bedding and towels. Had to go down and get more the first night. Asked for more the next day and they were in the dryer - Steve said he'd bring them up for us, even when I went down about an hour later to check, but he never did. Room condition was fair - things needed fixed or repainted. Bed wasn't very comfortable unless you like firm mattresses. Wasn't overly quiet on the weekend - could hear the people walking around in the room above and arguing in the room across the hallway. Breakfast was just okay - but that's on par with most Choice brands. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again.
I travel domestically and internationally, and I have stayed in numerous hotels. I rarely leave reviews, but my experience here was so awful, I felt compelled to leave a review to warn others. This was the worst hotel I have ever experienced. Unexpectedly, I needed a temporary place to stay while having repair work done to my home, so I temporarily checked into this hotel. The manager "Deepa" was extremely rude and unprofessional during my stay. She quoted one rate and changed the rate the next day, stating she changed her mind because I did not stay at the property "long enough." The breakfast was mediocre, at best. The wifi does not work. The hotel room walls are paper thin, and I had to call the front desk multiple times, in one day, and eventually requested to be moved to a different f
Positive: Location and pleasant staff Negative: First, the fridge wasn't clean and leaking water. I called the front desk and they came to check on the problem. The mattress cover was too small. There was no fitted sheet; instead they was a flat sheet which was too small. The pillows were flat.
Is the breakfast good? No. Can you watch your laptop on the TV? No, the TV inputs are deactivated. But are the rooms clean? Well no not really. You have to call on your cell because the room phones don’t work. How about the pool and spa? Down for renovation.
There was a strong smell of marijuana in the hallway on several nights, and some neighbors kept slamming their door in the middle of the night. The room and breakfast were fine, but 3 out of 5 of the workout equipment pieces were not in good functional condition. We booked the hotel to make use of the pool, but it was closed for maintenance. It seems like a poor choice to do the maintenance during a busy holiday weekend.
