Don't be fooled by the pictures. This is NOT what the room will look like when you get there. The by Radisson part is also a lie; this hotel is independently operated. Frankly, I'm baffled by any positive reviews. Our room was old. The carpet was dirty. Dirty enough to turn your feet black on the way to the shower. Speaking of which, the tub was seemingly permanently stained a different, yellowish, color than the rest of the tub/shower surround. We bought shower shoes. There was mold on the ceiling above the shower. My daughter and goddaughter ended up getting sick, and we had to find another hotel for the remainder of our stay in Bakersfield. We asked for, and did not receive a refund. This "motel" needs to be reported to the health department for the mold. It is a health and safety issue

We used to really enjoy this hotel, but it has gone downhill. They now ration key cards, which is an inconvenience and undeserved since we were never the ones who stole key cards. The breakfast used to be something to look forward to, with plenty of delicious options. Now, the potatoes are over seasoned and terrible, there were no eggs for half our visit. If there were eggs, there was no sausage, biscuits but never gravy, no good jam flavors. And I'm disappointed they got rid of cranberry juice. The beds and pillows were not comfortable. The pillows were the size of couch throw pillows, not bed pillows and the mattress hurt both my and my husband's backs. It has the air of a place that used to be decent but has lost something. We will probably be exploring other options for our stay in the

Really disappointing. I made the mistake of reading reviews on Booking.com which, for the most part, glowing. While booked a King “suite” we didn’t expect anything grand, just clean. Here are a few of the standout moments. ||• We were greeted by a roach in the tub. |• The pullout bed smelled like smoke. |• During the night we could hear critters in the walls. |• The windows in our room were all frosted which explains why all the curtains were drawn. |• There were stains on a chair that looked suspiciously like blood. |• The pedestrian gate to the “secure” parking lot was broken and anyone could come in. |• The walls were paper thin and we… heard “things” (and yes, it’s what you are thinking).||I will say that most of the staff we encountered were very friendly, despite that, I would

We were booked here through our employer. I looked at the reviews and I was a little hesitant, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. This place is very cozy. For the price, you will not find anything better. Also the wifi is pretty good. The breakfast is your standard hotel breakfast, but I have e stayed at so many hotels who don't even offer anything. It also starts at 6am. So it works with my schedule. The front desk is very nice and helpful as well.

If you want to stay at a hotel with mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom and sticky carpets this is the place for you. Unfinished window ledge, just ridiculous. I wish I could post the response from the general manager. I was supposed to stay for four days because my daughter had a wrestling tournament but ended up leaving after two nights because it was just not ok. The manager basically called me a liar and said I was nitpicking. I don’t think mildew In a hotel is a nitpick, but hey I don’t work in hospitality, im just a guest. That’s what I get for tryna save a buck. Also they have not returned my deposit which usually comes back immediately. Think that’s retaliation for complaining? I do.
