Country Inn & Cottages

Our stay here was great! We had 2 small dogs with us and we stayed for a long weekend. If you book a cottage and are not familiar with the area, you may want to give yourself some daylight to get there. Its pretty dark in the hill country. The vouchers for food were nice. Always good food in Fredericksburg. Check in was easy and very inviting. Instructions to get to the cottages was very thorough with map provided. Highly recommend staying here especially if plans include vineyard hopping.

😢: The shower was very small, you could barely turn around, definitely check with hotel if you booking king size room if you are claustrophobic. They could use new pillows, pillows provided was paper thin..

We’ve been staying here for about five years. We love the quiet country cabins, within just a few minutes of town. ||The cabins are always clean and comfortable, fresh linens, great fireplace, large bed, comfy sofa, nice jacuzzi tub…consistently a wonderful place to spend a long weekend, birthday or anniversary. |Shotgun, mini horse, and the elk had always been the highlight, so we missed them. But the Oreos (belted cows) visited us twice a day and our pugs loved them! ||Look forward to our next visit to Fredericksburg and stay at Country Cottages.

### ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Charming Christmas Gem! If you are looking for a cozy getaway, this little country hotel just outside of town is an absolute treasure. From the moment we pulled up, we felt the holiday spirit; the exterior was beautifully decorated with Christmas lights and wreaths on every single door, making for a very warm and festive welcome. The rooms might not be large or "fancy," but they truly felt like home. The cleanliness was impeccable (absolutely no bugs), and the room smelled wonderful. One of my favorite surprises was the quality of the linens—the towels were fantastic, thick, and plush, which is such a nice change from the thin, scratchy ones you usually find at other hotels. We loved everything about it! Great location, beautiful views, cottages are very nice and equipped with country themed furniture! We extremely enjoyed the experience! Housekeeping was above and beyond! They text to check if anything is needed! I recommend these cottages for everyone who would like to have a break and recharge from the busy crowded life!
