Country Club Inn

This motel is a great motel for those that are looking for budget friendly conscience families. Housekeeping is amazing at keeping all the rooms clean and making sure you have everything you could need during your stay and makes you feel like you are at the Ritz Carlton or the Marriott. The owner is a very sweet man who truly cares about his customers.

This is a small hotel and it's mostly used by weary travelers and construction crews. However the owner is a very good man and genuinely cares about his customers. The hotel is a little rough around the edges but it's being renovated and there is a great deal of effort done each day to insure that you sleep in clean comfortable rooms. The owner and house keeping go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant experience. It's the lowest price hotel in town with the security and comfort built in. There is video surveillance of the parking lots to insure your vehicles and property are kept safe and there is 24 hour security professionals that live on the premises at all time. Our family stayed here as the last resort after we found all of the hotels full when we arrived late at night. They opened up their big family suite, cleaned it up and provided it for a cheap price. The room was old with rough bits but more than adequate for the price. There are no extras like a pool and breakfast but you wouldn't expect that anyway. The children got a lttle excited when the local cops came to talk to one of the occupants but there was no struggle... The air conditioners were old and noisy so it was good it was relatively cool.

We got there at around 2 in the morning and the guy who was working was accommodating and helped us get a room. The prices are cheaper than other hotels in the area, but it is pretty run down. The paint was peeling at the ceiling and the water pressure left a little to be desired, but the water was hot and the bed was comfortable. I would stay there again and recommend it to other people who didn't mind a room that was a little beat up.

For the price it's a good room. Our bed was very comfortable and the area is quiet at night. I think all of the rooms have kitchenettes so it is a good place if needing a longer term stay in Colby. The bathroom isn't very big. Not really too much room to move around in there. There is a shower, no tub. Note that the motel appears to be a slightly upgraded former motor lodge. The parking is therefore intended for your average car.
