Internet: The internet service is terrible and unreliable. Food: Very limited food options. For example, if you want leftovers from dinner for lunch instead of the pre-made sandwiches, you’ll be told no. Management: They frequently bring in new management as if it will change anything, but the camps remain the same—short-staffed to save money, which leads to cutbacks on nearly everything, including basic services. While management staff are polite, asking for public feedback in front of the entire lunchroom (including the cooks) isn’t helpful. A simple comment box would provide more honest feedback. At first glance, it’s clear that the CHH was once a motel—but don’t let that fool you. Any initial expectations were quickly and completely exceeded. The facility is impressively well-maintained and spotless, with everything in working order and clearly cared for. What really stood out was the staff. They’re incredibly responsive and reliable—ready to help with anything and consistently professional. I happened to stay there on steak day, and let me just say: the food alone sets this place apart. The steak was genuinely better than anything I’ve had at other inclusive housing across West Texas and New Mexico. Overall, CHH is a top-tier choice for workforce or temporary housing. If this is your first time staying there. Let it be known that there are 2 buildings. The first one is right off the freeway. The 2nd is a little sw of there. I sat for an hour talking to 3 people out of 4 phone calls trying to get my door open. Little did I know I was at the wrong building. Nor did I know there was another building. The first 3 phone calls never mentioned i might be at the wrong building They just kept telling me someone was on the way. Which I never saw. They also had the same room number on the other building. The check-in text i received had link to maps to get me there. Although I was in building 2 Maps took me to building one. Other than that Food is decent. Rooms are average.

Not a bad location to stay, expect old decor, older beds and exterior facing entry doors.....gives it a "motel" like feel. Room was relatively clean: there was a bit of dust/lint inside the room-vent in bathroom, and dust on the top of headboard and on top of the TV and mirrors. shows housekeeping is not cleaning good enough. Also noticed watermarks on the flat surfaces from being cleaned... yes clean, but was not wiped completely dry leaving the residue from cleaning agent behind......the mirrors had spots also....... Room phone was very old and sticky from being wiped with cleaning agent so many times and not really "clean"..........Finally there is a train gong by (near) once every hour or so and is quite loud..........be prepared. The kitchen staff is AMAZING! Their menu and food dramatically improved since the last time I stayed there. Julian K2 was an exceptional host also
