Coronada Inn & Suites

Staff wasn't especially friendly, just efficient. Wasn't rude at all, just doing a job. Rooms are alright. I did like there was a living area and a door could be shut for bedroom portion. Pool isn't heated. Hot tub was sufficient. Overall had a well worn look and feel but it was great to have a place to lay our heads and feel safe. Great location! The bathroom they've remodeled and it looks nice.

I didn't expect fancy, but having HOT WATER in the shower, and not having a sofa that is so dirty I didn't want to sit on it were too much to ask here. Dingy at all over. Got a kitchenette ( unexpected) but had NO basics in it. Threadbare sheets look like were about to rip. Hot tub had enough chlorine to feel safe with the big pile of sand at the bottom. TV dish had too much interference ( no storms) to even try to watch and distract myself. Massive price gouging going on and had to leave early, but no partial refund. Can't see how it managed 2 stars ??

Positive: "" Negative: Price gouging. Kitchenette with no basics, LUKE WARM shower, thread bare sheets, FILTHY couch , Left a day early and wouldn't refund.

COCKROACH INFESTED! Suite rooms are good size kitchen is not as described and we booked through Expedia pictures didn't match the hotel in any way. Room wasn't clean food and old bottle caps stuck between mini oven and counters, no full sized towels. ALOT of sketch behavior from several long term stay rooms including looking through the windows of our vehicles and trying to open them. Us being watched and followed to our room. Not a safe vibe for sure wouldn't recommend for families. Cheap and easy to book if your needing somewhere to stay in a pinch.

I have stayed in some “ghetto” hotels in my life. This is one of the worst. The room smelled like mold and mildew. There was filth on the stove knobs and the fridge had rust on the shelf wires. The air conditioner only cooled off the bedroom. The front room stayed hot day and night. I tried to find rooms at other hotels but there were so many different tournaments going on at the same time there wasn’t a room available anywhere. To pay $130 per night was absolutely ridiculous for what they provided. Sadly, we didn’t have a choice. DO NOT STAY HERE!
