Comfort Suites Fargo Medical Center

We stayed at the Comfort Suites over the holidays end of December through new years. The hotel is clean and quiet and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had key issues and Joseph’s was very prompt to get us new cards that didn’t have any problems and was very kind. Anita made sure there were fresh warm cookies and my kids loved that she let us know when more were going to come out as there wasn’t enough for all of us and we got nice warm ones. Amy was very nice and let us check out a game and made sure everything was in order at the hotel and that there wasn’t any issues with other people staying there. We traveled to Fargo for our daughter’s medical appointment, and since we live six hours away, we decided to stay in a hotel at Comfort suites. When we arrived, my husband went inside to check in so we didn’t have to bring our toddler in. The front desk employee, Anna, was extremely rude and refused to let him check in even though he was on the reservation. When I went in to complete check-in, she was still rude and unprofessional. Once we got to the room, things only got worse. The room was dirty — we didn’t even feel comfortable showering because the towel area was dusty and grimy. Tremendous staff! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. It was nice to see the updates continuously being made to the facility. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays and the staff made certain the floors were mopped and clean. Sidewalks were cleared often from snow and drifting. Breakfasts were hardy and the cookies at night were an added treat. We plan to return.

I had a great stay, the staff was friendly and kind and amazing. My only complaint was the pool was absolutely freezing so we didn’t use it like we had hoped but the hot tub was relaxing. Our room was clean and amazing and there were lots of options for food for breakfast. Definitely will stay again next time we need to be in town!

I recently booked a room using my rewards points as a treat for my daughter and her boyfriend during their night in Fargo. Unfortunately, their experience was not what I expected. Later in the evening, when they were getting into bed, they discovered someone else’s dirty clothing/items inside the bed. They went to the front desk right away and were told that staff didn’t know how to redo the beds, and were asked to simply use the second bed in the room instead of being moved to a new room. Although I understand they had already checked in earlier in the afternoon and didn’t notice the issue until later, the condition of the bed is a significant hygiene concern. Regardless of whether a room is paid for with points or cash, the standard of cleanliness should always be consistent. In this s
