Comfort Suites Brenham

Employees were nice and the breakfast area was well-stocked and clean. I would have loved at least one fruit choice at breakfast- a banana or orange or apple. Also, in past years when I stayed at this hotel (I have stayed yearly for the past 3 years), it was cleaner and better kept. The hallways and stairs were in need of vacuuming, as was the couch in our room. The shower curtain was torn and the bar was broken so it didn’t hang properly in our room and the floor got soaked with every shower. However the beds were super comfy and it was very quiet.

The room was nice and clean, however the hot water heater was out and part of the shower was broken. There was a sign at the front desk about the hot water on check in and they also discounted the room. Nice people that work there and a nice breakfast. Would visit again.

The room were great but honestly the lady named Ms.Penny was a blessing and made the stay feel at home. She was helpful with my disabled father. Gave all kinds of goodies to my son and niece. She was very social and polite. She made me feel as if she was my own grandma. May God bless her and watch over her. I'll stay where ever this lady is working.

Positive: Clean and functional. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Negative: The room smelled very flowery. It was too strong.

Staff was really nice, but…. The room smelt like too much Carpet Fresh. Way too strong. Lights blinked in room like there was an electrical short. Toilet paper holder was barely holding in the wall. Refrigerator was balanced with a folded up paper plate underneath the bottom. Lots of mold/mildew on the ceiling right outside room door like there was a leak. But the room was nice and cold, felt safe, and appeared clean. Just needs some maintenance.
