Comfort Inn Williamsburg Gateway

My hotel ratings take customer service, cleanliness and comfort into consideration when assessing value. This hotel provided exceptional customer service, the room was very clean and I had a comfortable nights sleep. Trip Advisor considers this a 2-star hotel so it’s definitely suited to budget conscious travelers. The breakfast included hot and cold items and was well attended by staff. The best part is that we had daily housekeeping without having to ask for it, just like service should be. I cannot understand why housekeeping has not returned to pre-Covid service levels in so many hotels. We had a very wonderful stay at the Comfort Inn Willliamsburg. The inn was modern and clean with very comfortable beds. The location was very convenient to Colonial Williamsburg. The continental breakfast was well stocked and the eggs, bacon, and sausage were cooked just right. On our last day we needed to check out late and our host was very accomodating. Many thanks! Yes we would recommend this inn and will stay here again on our next visit.

This very nice and clean hotel is conveniently located so that no matter where you want to go in Williamsburg, your are a short hop, skip and a jump away! After a serious debacle of booking our hotel for what we thought to be Nov. 24-26, and driving from NC only to find out we booked for Feb 2026……. Upon finally figuring that out NARESH was so unbelievably patient and helpful! He was able to move our reservation to the correct time and we were even able to get the suite with kitchenette we originally wanted. It would have been a small up charge for this move (and we would have happily paid) but Naresh even waived that fee! Now on to the suite…..4th floor where no one, literally no one else is on that floor, just you and the attic! Yay!!! The Suite is much larger than you would expect!

We are hoping to stay at this hotel again in the near future! ALL of the staff were helpful, friendly, and professional. The ladies that prepared and tended to the breakfast area were very attentive and kept the dining area and serving places immaculate. Our room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping went the extra mile when we forgot a backpack in our room. An employee ran it out to us because she knew we were checking out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back!

It was a good stay. Hotel was clean, room was nice. Front desk was helpful. Included daily breakfast was great - good variety of breakfast foods. Kids were very satisfied with the breakfast options. We had an initial issue with our neighboring room. They had someone with special needs who ended up talking loudly around 3 am at night. Front desk was very helpful the next day and allowed us to move to another room for the remainder of our stay.
