Comfort Inn & Suites Wyomissing/Reading

The other things I read in the reviews were accurate, however we did not experience any bed bugs. We checked for bedbugs prior and did not see any. We stayed in a king room, and it did have a moisture to it, although the air conditioner worked correctly. The staff forgot soap for the bathroom sink however we did not reach out to staff to replace it as there was soap in the shower. The cabinet door on the sink was broken off and placed under the sink as a previous review mentioned, and there were stains on the chair in the room. The hallways were dim and did have a distinct smell, which again previous reviews mentioned. The bedsheets and linens appeared clean and the bed was comfortable. As a single woman staying in this hotel, I didn't feel comfortable. The parking lot was dark. The lights in the parking lot were not lit. So, when I pull up and parked, there were a handful of gentleman loitering in the parking lot smoking. That coupled with the darkness of the parking lot made me feel uneasy. The room itself was clean and comfortable except for the occasional whiffs of marijuana smoke I smelled during my stay as well.

Bed bugs!!!! Do not stay in this hotel!!!! My daughter woke up in the morning with a bed bug on her. She brought the manager up to show her the bed bugs and the manager shrugged it off and said that they can probably keep the Mattress and will have it investigated. We were supposed to stay three nights but after the bug problem we decided not to and asked for a refund so we could go stay at a clean bug free hotel. They have not agreed to give us a refund so far even though they are aware that there are bugs in the rooms. This is not saying too much for this hotel chain. We will keep you posted and let know if they do issue us a refund. Beware of the bed bugs!!!!!!!

Positive: Location was great as it was very close to the location of the venue we were attending. Breakfast was a plus. Price was reasonable. Negative: Chair has a stain. Hair in the shower. Remote control for TV nowhere to be found. Carpet was dirty.

The hotel wasnt bad. The service was great, quick and easy. Parking well I had to park further away from door both days which wasnt fun carrying my stuff in. The room itself was decent, mostly clean except the chair definitely had a stain on it...not sure what it was. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. My complaint? The TV had lines going through it which I later found out is the actual cable in that area so expect a fuzzy TV. Otherwise the breakfast was good they offered a wafflemaker, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, pastries, eggs, and sausage links. They had things like apple juice and oj as well as coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.
