Comfort Inn & Suites

I stayed last night while passing through the area. I selected this hotel for it's location, price and Google Review rating. No complaints about the room as I was upgraded being a Choice Privileges Platinum member. The "basic" internet was slow and barely acceptable. It appears you can purchase faster wifi. When I had problems connecting in the morning, I tried calling the front desk at least 5 times with each time no one answering. I finally went down to the front desk and spoke with someone. The clerk informed me they have had problems with phone calls going through. I informed her I needed internet and she told me I can use the passkey. That worked, albeit still slow wifi. I like this hotel. I have stayed at it before. I came back to stay again because I thought it was a good hotel for a good value that is PET FRIENDLY. I booked again by phone. The rate was more expensive this year (boo), therefore I secured a cheaper non-refunable room rate. The person I booked with on the phone told me I would pay the pet fee at the desk when I checked in - just like last year. Once I got to the hotel I was told they are no longer accepting pets. Huh? What??? They are remodeling the hotel/changing the carpet. The person at the front desk really hassled me but ultimately said ok, we could stay. Thank GOD sinced I got that non-refunable rate. The Quality Inn and Suites is a decent hotel in Wisconsin Dells. It was unremarkable in most regards, which is good in this context. It met our needs for a one-night stay.||The room was comfortable and clean. There was no noise except for a midnight disturbance in the hall outside our door as one of our neighbors was trying to find the rest of his party. This is nothing the hotel could control, and it lasted for a minute. Those who painted the door trim did a rather sloppy job as did the one who did caulk in the bathroom room. These are minor issues.||The hotel is conveniently near the Interstate interchange, but we could not hear the traffic. Came for a volleyball tournament and location was close to where we needed to be each day. Hotel is remodeling so everything is getting a fresh start which is nice. Staff was very friendly. Just missing sheets for the pull out in our room but the front desk was able to assist quickly. Thanks for the great stay!

They put our room right next to the rooms storing all their restoration pieces, rolled up carpets, furniture was all stacked up with the doors wide open for all to see, it smelled terrible like dampness, mold, and vomit all in one. Staff was not exactly enthusiastic or warm and friendly. The pool area and laundry room areas were clean, well supplied with towels, furniture nicely pushed in, and clean. Plenty of parking. Breakfast area was clean and well supplied. However, I do not recommend staying on the first floor as we had guests above us running around and it was very loud. Since they are doing renovations, I may consider staying here if the price is right. But going forward, I would seek another hotel before rebooking this one.
