Comfort Inn & Suites Seattle North

So my wife and I arrived to the comfort in and suites in shoreline wa. In an Uber, and it was pretty late at 11pm, we booked a room before around 9:30pm and we arrived at 11pm, and when we got there, there was a new shift on duty and the employee that works there. Is an older male and He's not from American ethically. he went through this whole big ordeal with us for over an hour and he did not know what he was doing at all. He couldn't use the computer correctly and made our Debit card declined over 10 times, then he charged it again, but allowed us to use an actual card swipe. And when that happened, it went approved, after that he says we have to pay a 100$ deposit, instead of charging the room and deposit at the same time. then on the computer. The beds were hard and not very comfortable. The room was dark with not much lighting. I had a dog with me who used pee pads in the room. The TV kept cutting out while we were trying to watch at night. I was scammed out of a carpet cleaning fee saying that she peed all over the room. My dog never does that. Additionally, I just checked my account and I have an additional 57.86 charge on my account. I was not given a receipt, it was not emailed to me, and my stay is now missing from my account so I cannot view it there. As a travel agent this is the last place I would ever recommend anyone to stay.

When I checked in, the front desk staff was friendly. My room felt like an apartment, it was spacious and clean with a great view of the city. This room is a great option for those who are budget conscious and independent. The attached kitchen allows one an option of not eating out. Seattle restaurants are getting expensive, and this Inn is located near several food markets ( also an asian market) within walking distance. |What I liked most about the room is that I controlled the room temperature... and it's easy to do. This place is close to downtown and Green Lake area. Great place to stay for Seattle events/ concerts etc!

Very mediocre stay. The whole hotel felt sketchy and the staff weren’t very welcoming. I understand that I got what I paid for, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless someone needed somewhere very cheap to stay.

HORRIBLE neighborhood, hookers standing on corners 3 blocks away, Burger King manager cautioned me against walking to hotel 4 blocks away, death shrine across the street (and the first thing I see looking out my window in the morning), my cab driver points out a lie on one housing facility 2 blocks from the hotel and told me a resident there called him for a ride, the passenger was going exactly 1.5 blocks to a market store for cigarettes. When the cab driver wanted to to confirm the destination, that it was ONE AND A HALF BLOCKS from the pick up point, and when he asked the passenger why take a cab to go a block, the apt. resident/passenger simply said, ‘no one walks around here after dark, it’s not safe’. Holy crap!
