Comfort Inn & Suites Pueblo

Tested positive for Covid the day I was to arrive in Pueblo. I’m a traveling nurse and this was a last minute assignment. I had made the reservations about 12 hours prior to my calling to cancel. When I called to cancel the reservation, I was told by the front desk attendant Mike??, I would have to pay for a nights’ stay. Ridiculous and incredibly poor customer service. I was sick as a dog, had made the reservations a few hours prior, and I know there were still rooms available. It’s not like they had to turn people away because I reserved the last room. Have some empathy, dude (Mike). Not every situation is the same.

Clean hotel and property. I booked a suite for the family and decided not to bring the dog later. The staff explained that the suites booked up while I was registered in a dog room. So our room was small and glad I didn't bring the dog after all. But we were still stuck in a dog friendly room. They comped our roll away which was great because my kids are grown adults. Beds are comfy, pool, hot tub and breakfast are great. I'd stay here again but communicate better. I booked through hotels.com and was able to chat the front desk.

Positive: Hotel was a mess! General manager in the morning was really RUDE Negative: Everything especially the GM in the morning the toilet did not work

Where do I start? Check-in took over an hour, the line was around the block. Our soccer team was in town and they apparently weren’t prepared. The gal checking us in was polite and friendly but only had ONE speed. Slow. What didn’t she call for help?? She was eating flaming hot Cheetos while she was checking us all in. Not washing her hands, talking while chewing with food in her mouth. The real kicker is that it’s a PET FRIENDLY hotel and your staff apparently put us on a NO PET floor and proceeded to charge us $250 for our dog. Check in was CHAOTIC, 30 soccer players, families, everyone with dogs, a line around the block. Our room had no less than 7 flies, one splattered on the wall, bloody guts and all. There was no dish soap or sponge in our kitchen so no way to clean any of our dishes

Nate was efficient and friendly. Room appeared clean. However, shower curtain wasn't a good fit, did not cover entire length of rail, hence, water on the floor unless head pointed towards the wall. Also couldn't adjust head for all jets, without losing flow. Fridge not working, or unplugged?
