Comfort Inn & Suites Morganton South

We stayed here as vendors for the Historic Morganton Festival. There are several handicap parking spots available. The hotel front desk clerk was very nice and assisted me with an accessible room with a roll In shower. Upon checking in, late at night after the festival, we found that the toilet pressure was not sufficient to flush. The water valve was turned halfway off. Also a light that was on the table didn't work, until we found the plug out of the wall. There was a roach in the bathroom and there was no place to place soap while taking a shower (no holder). The toilet that is supposed to be ADA height was not, and had a seat life on it, that was insufficient to be considered as ADA room. Breakfast was quite sparse with just sausage patties and scrambled eggs.

Check in desk was quick and professional as well as friendly. The room was nice, not freezing inside in the winter. The restroom was nice and clean. Breakfast was ready in the morning for everyone that wanted it too. Easy to find location too.

The service was wonderful, but the hotel is dated. The bathrooms need updating, and the carpet needs to be deodorized. The towels and shower pressure were on point. The breakfast needed to have at least one day with a non-pork protein option. Other than that, the location was good for our visit.

Very outdated poor condition, toilet dripping, spoke to 2 other guests they said their toilets were dripping also. Bed sheets had holes and picked. The pool has been broken for a while. Breakfast was very poor. Work booked the room and I would not recommend. Only positive was didn't see any bugs

Room was fine. Parking lot was filled with trucks, trailers, boats, U-Hauls, all taking up multiple spots. No parking was available at 7:30 pm. This should have been avoided. Will not recommend if it happens again
