Comfort Inn & Suites Macon West

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is very clean. The staff is very friendly! Val and Nicole are wonderful!! It’s hard to find such great workers. Give them a raise so they keep working there!! Good breakfast too !

Stayed here with my family including two small children on our way to Florida and never will I ever stay again. 0/10 stars if possible. The first room they gave us had weed on the floor in multiple different places, belongings of other guests left in drawers, huge clumps of hair under the nightstands between the beds. They did “upgrade” us to a suite which did not have weed or hair clumps but they clearly just don’t vacuum or take cleaning the rooms seriously. We attempted the pool-gross. Went to set our things down on the one and only table and there was bugs crawling on it from something spilled. We didn’t even bother seeing what breakfast was like. Just got out asap. DO NOT RECOMMEND

The staff is truly exceptional. This is the second year in a row our team has stayed at the hotel, and we continue to be impressed with their hospitality, kindness, and professionalism. The rooms are consistently clean and quiet, and the fitness center is sufficiently equipped for a good workout. Breakfast was also delicious and well-stocked.

This place is dirty. Inside and out. The entire neighborhood is strewn with trash and the homeless are ever present, sometimes sitting in the lobby. I stayed in a "suite". The sofa was so stained and gross I covered it with the bedspread before I sat down. The desk chair was broken and the toilet wouldn't flush. The person at the front desk handed me a plunger and said "we're not a 4 star hotel. Duh.... you're a no star roach motel. I stayed 3 nights and my room key didn't work on the second and third night so I had to go back down to the lobby with my bags in tow so they could reprogram the key so I could get into my room, when I asked what the issue was they just shrugged. The room and hotel open areas were very clean and in good repair. Front desk check-in was pleasant and efficient though we were not recognized as Choice Hotel members. Everything was good except one thing. And I don't know how to say this politely. The woman who sets up breakfast simply needs to shut up and do her job. She interrupted everyone's conversations as though she were a guest herself, while the food was late coming out. It was after 6:25 until everything was out or filled.
