Comfort Inn & Suites Cincinnati Uptown Clifton

The morning staff members were nicer than the evening staff. I came back to the hotel late and the man working insisted I show my ID before heading to my room. If I was checking in, that would be understandable, but he refused to let me go to my room if I didn't show him my license. I didn't realize the crime in the area was so high, I have never stayed in a hotel that needed to see your ID outside of the check-in process. The bathroom ceiling was crumbling and there was dirt on every corner of the room. I thought at least the linens on the bed were clean, until the morning I checked out and was flipping through the pillows on the side of the bed I didn't sleep on. On that side there ended up being debris, including clipped nails. It was a lesson on needing to check the bedding more dilig

Positive: Nothing Negative: There was a homeless man yelling at and harassing people on the street. Upon return from being out, two men broke a window and then ran. Unknown what they were doing but it made us feel unsafe so we left immediately. Staff didn't even call police

I was greeted by a friendly smile. The young lady was very personable and efficient. The night shift person was friendly and accommodating as well. The people in the morning greeted me warmly. The room as pretty nice. It was spacious. I liked the vending because they sell Mtn. Dew. The breakfast had a slightly bigger selection than a lot of other hotels. It was clean. There was no one just hanging around outside. It is close enough with a little drive to a lot of good places to eat.

A Great Budget Stay ​This is a good budget hotel. It was very clean, the staff were friendly, and the beds were comfortable. It has everything you need for an overnight stay on a limited budget, especially by Cincinnati standards. ​It’s conveniently located near Highway 71, but it was not noisy at all. All the necessary amenities were in the room. Highly recommend for a practical and clean stopover!

We were there 8 days when our son and wife had their first baby. This hotel was close, the staff were like family - Teresa, Melissa and Lily - and we could not have been happier. The building is a touch dated, but it is clean, friendly and safe. We will re-book when we return to visit.
