Comfort Inn & Suites Amarillo East

This hotel was top of the line. It was so clean and the rooms were very large. Cameron was in charge of the kitchen. She constantly checked to make sure all of the food was well stocked. This hot breakfast was one of the best we have had in a long time. We highly recommend this hotel.

Room was clean. Hallway was undergoing renovation, but it was very quiet. Quick and easy check-in. Great breakfast. Loved the Texas-shaped waffles. Located near a museum and close to many of the Route 66 attractions. Well worth the price.

The front desk staff were great, very kind and hospitable. We had several issues with our key card and had to have them replaced each day. The cards also never worked for the fitness room or pool area so we had to ask someone to open those for us. The housekeeping left something to be desired, not vacuuming obvious crumbs, no extra trash bags in the cans, and not enough towels (only 3 when there were 4 of us staying).

First I must say the staff was absolutely fantastic!!!! The problem was our TV didn’t work, they were sold out so we couldn’t switch rooms. The front desk girl was so helpful, she tried everything to get it work. Nothing worked, so no tv for our stay. Then when my husband went to take a shower the bottles were completely empty in the shower, and broken. Despite these things I will say that the staffs effort was outstanding.
