Comfort Inn SeaWorld Area

Very well maintained! New renovation 2 yrs ago with all the latest Comfort Inn Amenities. Staff is very friendly, speaks English and Spanish. Minor issue - outside doors to rooms...but did not matter in San Diego in January. less than 19 minutes from Airport rental car center. Access to I 5 and I 8. 15 minutes to Sea World, Pacific Beach and downtown. I stayed in 5 Comfort Inns for around 60 days last year and this one was the most updated, well maintened and staffed of all!!!!

The room had an extremely strong musty smell. All of my clothes now stink after staying there just one night. Breakfast was below average but still ok, except coffee. It was very watered down and the dispenser was disgusting. Coffee in the room tasted rotten too. Can't recommend this hotel. Location is fine - I needed to be within walking distance to a trolley station and this hotel is.

The rooms were very nice and clean, BUT one of the 3 rooms we got, smelled strongly of marijuana 🤢 Staff sent a cleaner in to help deodorize it and it helped but still did smell like marijuana. Kimberly was amazing and so incredibly helpful! She was very kind and understanding and did everything she could to help! I only rated a 3 bc of the smell.

Booked a room at this hotel to attend my brother’s graduation. This hotel is in a great location. Only 10 minutes away from the Marines' base. Kimberly checked us in. She was helping someone when we walked in. The lady did not have a reservation. Kimberly was able to get the lady a room within minutes. Kimberly was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. She even checked us in early after we were on the road for so long. Her customer service skills were excellent!

I’m really disappointed in my stay here for several reasons: The hotel staff was hit and miss. Some of them were friendly, others were not. It felt like you were annoying them by checking in or out, because they had other issues to deal with. Staff aside, the location of the motel didn’t seem secure. It’s one of the few times I’ve stayed somewhere where I never left anything in my room or car. Not only because it seems like the rooms were easy to break into, but also like the staff wasn’t trustworthy either. (I don't just mean the actual location, since right next door there is another hotel that has a more secure facility.) The shower pressure was very weak and I found long black hairs in certain areas like on towels that were supposed to be clean. By far my biggest complaint, however
