Comfort Inn San Diego Airport At the Harbor

This is a really great place to stay when staying in Point Loma area. Most excellent restaurants across the street from Mitch’s seafood to Point Loma seafoods, and the Pearl. And plentiful nightlife and wonderful views all around. Grocery shopping is right down the road a bit in liberty Station, along with many restaurants in a beautiful setting. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with excellent beds and bedding, mini fridge, microwave, desk, and flatscreen TV with all the cable channels. Most rooms also have a separate bedroom that I wasn’t expecting with a second bed. There is a wonderful pool area and also a place for dogs to take care of business. There is a bonus deck on the second floor where you can get some fantastic sunset pictures, and sunrise I presume. Just a great place

This hotel is more like a 1950's, 1960's hotel. The rooms are extremely small and the bathroom is of the late 1950's in size and decor. I don't think this hotel is deserved of the star rating it is given in the online reviews. I must say thought that the staff was very professional and helpful in all respects. I did notice that in my room the smoke detector had been removed.

We arrived late and the man at the desk was not friendly. We had said we were hungry and he said there was a 24 hour donut shop open across the street. Was not looking for a donut at 11:30PM...in the morning learned there was also a 24/7 mexican restaurant that could've been suggested. Got to the room and it had a mildew odor but we were next to the laundry room and pool so ignored it. My sheets looked questionable and the first night I slept on top of the blanket. Breakfast was basically and did the trick Come home and find a $22. Charge. I call the hotel at 5PM PST and the girl told me it was for damaged washcloths. I said what was the damage we didn't damage any wash cloths. She said housekeeping reported this. I asked for a manager to return my call in the morning and she sa

Positive: Close to the San Diego Bay and the airport. Easy access to the Embarcadera waterfront area if you have a car. Negative: The breakfast menu is limited.

Very close to the airport. No shuttle, but it's just a little thing. Prepaid, but when I showed up they wanted a $100 surprise deposit, and their antiquated system had trouble with my card, so I got to wander the streets in the middle of the night for an atm. Lady at the desk was nice, but still. Breakfast was passable. Room wasn't pretty but it was serviceable and the bed was comfortable.
