Comfort Inn Pikeville

The hotel was clean and neat. It has apparently undergone a recent renovation. Our TV did not work in the room but the hotel clerk on duty worked very hard to get it working. She even went and got another one to replace it with.Breakfast was very good

Don't try and book a room here,was told $160 a night because all the rooms were for construction companies I'm sorry but comfort inn isn't the Hilton which isn't in this city and probably would never be don't worry will never inquire at this location again if I'm going to throw down almost 200 a night it's going to be ocean front and not some out of the way place

Not the hotels fault, this is my least favorite shopping area to be in. Just be warned, it's usually really busy the main way in and you will be stuck sitting forever trying to go anyway. The hotel however is so lovely. They are currently renovating. The main lobby is very bright and clean. Everyone on staff I talked to was so kind and helpful. They work really hard here to make sure it's clean. The cleaning ladies and guy didn't mind when I borrowed the vacuum. We have 2 kids and I thought for sure we would get a complaint from guests, but we didn't. So this mama is happy about that. I would have taken pics, but letting them renovate and I'm sure I will be back here again. I will try to update if I can.

Pretty disappointed for the cost. When I pay $225 for a night, I expect a $225 room. This room definitely failed expectations. There must not be any insulation between the rooms,.. whatever is going on in the hallway or the connected rooms you will hear loud and clear. Specifically, when the shower /water is turned on in an adjacent room. If something is broken in the room,.. just remove it or fix it. I'm not paying for the room by the hour so it shouldn't look like one. Breakfast,.. I'm convinced people only eat this to feel like they are getting some value for their money. Eggs were literally sitting in water,..and when the one pot of coffee ran out there was no rush to refill it. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this hotel and especially for the price point!!

The staff didnt seem to care about anything. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. When going outside as one should we had to wait for the firetruck to come and check it out. That took forever. Once there the alarm was turned off and we tried to come back inside. And was told to go back outside tell thet was done. While thos happened other guests was sitting in the lobby and didnt come outside while the staff stayed inside as well. Staff didnt try to help explain anything on what was going on. When trying to explain this to the morning staff they didnt seem to care that it happened or even tried to help make it better.
