Comfort Inn Lacey - Olympia

I dont usually leave review s, but i was shocked at how clean the room was. I used to be a hotel housekeeper, so I tend to be a bit critical , but i was absolutely impressed and couldn't muster up one single negative comment. I applaud the staff and I hope that all of the rooms are treated consistantly with the same attentiveness . It truly helps me to relax soundly and free of stress. Thank you for doing your job and doing it well. It doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated.

Standard run-of-the-mill motel. It's OK. Check-in was straightforward. The only thing I guess is that the pool area, which is right across the elevator, smells like feet and wet dog. Also, the shower only has 1 cloth curtain so it's kinda weird taking a shower because the curtain gets wet. The bed was also firm and the pillows offered no support so I had to stack a bunch to sleep and still ended up with a neck pain when I woke up. If you have thick hair, bring your own shampoo. I forgot to bring mine and I ran out mid-shower. Oh well, that's on me; I rarely use motels/hotels. I didn't really expect much because I only needed a place to sleep for the night and this was the cheapest and closest option to what I needed.

Unfinished drywall with screws showing on half wall. Bathroom looked like it was painted by a drunk using flat whitewash fence paint. There was paint on fixtures and trim. Shower head was good. The lobby floor are made with slick tiles which made the treacherous because I use a cane and I was slipping when walking. Of course it was rainy but on one day they had just mopped and left it wet. That’s a big liability. The bed was average and my back hurt every morning. They don’t make up the rooms which I get but when I stopped at the desk to ask for service there was no one there. It was normal that the desk was empty. There is a smoking area about 40 feet from the front door with a gazebo. I’m pretty sure homeless we’re using it for shelter which I’m okay with but they we constantly smo

My trip would have been wonderful except for the fact that I accidentally booked it for one day in advance so I asked the front desk what to do and she said to call you guys it happens all the time and I should be able to get my money back and so I canceled it talked to trips.com and they said they would get back to me with the answer. So in the morning I called the front desk and I asked about the cancellation and they said it was definitely canceled they were going to reimburse me but then I get home and I have a message from ships.com saying that they denied it and then when I further talk to them they said no there's a third party involved and they denied it I asked him to try again and tell him the whole scenario and they still denied it so I feel like you guys don't care about your c

I am a bit new to Choice Hotel membership. I joined after a stay at a Cambria Hotel in No. Phoenix. Very nice. The comfort Inn in Lacey WA was clean, comfortable and secure. The breakfast was actually pretty good. The two staffers , morning and night were attentive, pleasant and professional . On the other hand, a couple minor things: In my room I found the flimsiest plastic wrapped - plastic cups known to mankind, No actual chair to sit in and relax, and not including the table chairs. But: Overall I had a very nice stay and would stay there again. Thank you
