Comfort Inn Darien - North Brunswick

Our stay at the Comfort Inn Darien was quite pleasant. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. They gave us a choice of firm and soft pillows, two of each on the beds. The breakfast was clean and well stocked, and with eggs, sausage and pancakes as hot options. The selections were a bit limited compared to other places but altogether sufficient. The breakfast hostess Katrel was very friendly and cheerful, and did her job well. She checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The front desk clerk who checked us in could use a little advice on customer service. He was prompt and efficient but spoke very little. I was not asked for an ID or to sign anything which seemed odd. He just charged my credit card on file and handed me the key. As for the room, just a coup

My mom said that check in with the credit card authorization form was a breeze. She also mentioned that renovations that were underway last year when they had stayed, had been completed. She also appreciated the breakfast. She said the location is perfect for her yearly travel down south.

Hotel looked and smelled dirty. Bathroom sink had no plug but was clogged with filth. Toilet seat had black spots on it but they were easily wiped off with wet toilet paper. Shower was dirty and shower head shot water in any direction. Plus when we first got there key didn’t work (room 215). Staff was nice.

Very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and they make an effort to make sure you are happy with your stay. Beds were soft and the pillows upper quality. ||Breakfast was decent quality for a “free” breakfast. Waffle maker, eggs and sausage links. Vera’s and the coffee was surprisingly good quality.

2min from the Bucs, 20min from Brunswick, easy on and off from highway and near gas and food. Room was ok, the mirror was dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned, but the beds and bathroom looked and seemed fine. Free breakfast of scrambled eggs and sausages, cereal and juices. Staff were friendly. Parking is ok. They have a outdoor pool and gym inside. I would stay here again if I was in the area.
