Comfort Inn Birch Run - Frankenmuth

This was our first time staying here. It was a solid "meh". It wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't great either. The location was excellent - close to the outlet mall and to downtown Frankenmuth. The room was ok. Nothing remarkable, just a basic room. The beds were comfy and the sheets were clean. The TV had a weird guide and channel setup. It took a few minutes to get the hang of it. The breakfast was a standard one for this price point. The real disappointment was the hot tub, which was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. The pool water seemed comfortable when we dipped our hands in, but the hot tub was cold. We called the front desk while we were out to ask if they could turn up the heat. Very impressed with this hotel. We checked in on Dec 28, front desk was wonderful and very helpful. Lobby was beautifully decorated, room was clean and spacious, kids loved the pool! Breakfast was great, and the attendant was very nice, filling up constantly, and always checking on the guests. Would suggest this hotel to anyone!

It was a very easy process to book and check in. We enjoyed the rooms. They were clean and well kept. The rooms were large and connected. The fitness room was ok, except the treadmill did nhot work, but I used the other equipment. The breakfast in the morning was very good. The lady that was doing it was very good. She kept things fully stocked and asked us if everything was alright several times. She even took care of our dirty plates! Would for sure book this hotel again!

Location and price are excellent. Staff was wonderful, breakfast was good and rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great. Will stay here every time I need a break from the city and needed getaways with son and grandson

The room I got wasn't the room that I thought I paid for, very misleading Also the pool room is horribly cold,it made swimming so unenjoyable. Which this is the main reason for our stay was to go swimming. Also the hot tub, was literally freezing, may be a couple degrees warmer than the pool. We probably swam for a half hour total Also the breakfast buffet food wasn't very good. Food was horrible. The employees were no where to be found, and it was extremely busy when we went to get breakfast, every single table was full. Someone should stay near the customers at all times when it's that busy
