Comanche Trail Park Campground

Nice free park tucked in by the golf course. Take the first immediate left into the one way park. About 6 spots, some fairly level, some picnic tables, trash cans. Park was very clean. I parked my 40ft bus in with no problem but getting turned around is tricky. Was able to back onto the area near the golf course to turn around. Big park nearby, pool, disc golf, walking, bathrooms etc. 3 day limit per month.

This is a small campground sandwiched between the golf course and the disc golf course. Camping is free. Approximately 6 sites available. Accommodates rigs up to 25 feet in length. No hookups available. Easy access off the highway. Each site has a campfire ring and some sites have picnic tables. Garbage cans available. I gave 3 stars for these reasons: none of the overhead lights in the campground worked and the campground isn’t camper friendly. The sites are set up in such a way that to get into them with a rig, need to drive into the campground in reverse. Also there is no turn around as the campground dead ends into the last site. Lastly the sign stating how many days camping is allowed there was unreadable. There is some highway noise at night but it really isn’t that bad.

There are secluded trails and lots of birds, fishing with bass, crappie, sunfish and catfish, a beautiful pavilion for rent the cenote that is restored with several Lookout limestone edifices, the Comanche trail theater and golf, Prarie dogs and their playing pups and don't forget to feed the ducks

So far....the campgrounds are clean yet devoid of Shade....lots and lots of looky-loo pretentious, pompus, busybody passer-by people are driving by for a look.....SICK AND TIRED of always being in #AWatchfulEye!

its fair and free with bum leg bathrooms were out of my walking distance. some one said spot for hammock and well any two tree in distance can work i saw no spot for one. ste3vie have that list cant find ya.
