College Green Inn

I lived here for two years during law school; the College Green Inn is an excellent living choice for serious students, university researchers, and Iowa City visitors. The Innkeeper, Pam, is an amicable hostess that goes out of her way to make her residents feel comfortable. For example - upon my arrival - she provided me with an array of information about local amenities; she even has a categorized list of restaurants, food stores, and cultural events that is useful for newcomers to Iowa City. The atmosphere within the Inn perfectly balances quite tranquility with communal living. Although each unit is technically its own apartment, the Inn's residents interact with one another regularly. I recommend the College Green Inn without hesitation!

Unfortunately the College Green Inn needs some serious TLC. Don't stay here if you prefer cleanliness and privacy - the manager of the property cares more about selling her properties and retiring than providing good customer service or accommodations. I hate to leave such a harsh review, but want to give folks a heads up to choose another option if you don't know Iowa City well.
