My husband just took our 5th wheel camper to Cobble Hill campground for our son Noah Allen to live in for a while #26 site is what he was given. Very little space in between to do much of anything with a picnic table with one seat and the other side where another seat should be are huge nails sticking up through the wood!! Noah works in Charlotte and his hours usually 12noon til 9pm. Takes over hour to get home at night. Pitch dark out there at his #26 camp site. So I told him to leave outside lights on until he was back his camper and inside safely and then he could turn off. Well Noah told me he had a c/o because lights were on and they were too bright!!! You never know what or is beside you or behind you in a Campground And it’s so dark you can’t see to walk from one place to another.

Online, we reserved a site at Cobble Hill. The site we chose was NOT what we got when we arrived. We were placed on a narrow washed out and seriously sloped site on the side of the road with the tiniest flat area. It has a big pile of large stone right next to it. Three level sites next to this one, (including the one we chose), remain unoccupied.|To say the place needs maintenance is an understatement. Our fire pit, (down the hill), is a rusted out barrel end surrounded by a thick layer of fallen leaves. The whole place needs grass mowing and leaf management. The nearest bathhouse/restroom is shut down; with the only available one 600+ feet away. The pool is closed and full of green slimy water. There is a large pile of road gravel a short distance from a muddy section of road that could

Not very well kept. A nice courtesy would have been to blow off all the dead leaves and cleaned out the fire pit before our arrival. My husband had to do it to see where he needed to park the camper. Our view of the pond was nice but the view of the old not maintained campers was disgusting. I get you want long term renters. But make them clean up their site. Makes the whole campground look like trash. Too bad. The pool area is run down and green water. Your pictures have totally falsely advertised. Very disappointing. Too bad because it could so much better.

We had a disappointing 1-night stay in late September. Staff cordially welcomed us with the usual info and directed us to site 4. We found the gravel site was far from level in 2 directions. One empty site next to us had an abandoned small refrigerator and old sewer hose. The bath house and laundry across the lane was not functional and the one working bath house was at the far end of the park. While we did not tour the loop beyond the pond, many of the sites we did see seemed to be occupied by long-term or year-round residents, suggesting Cobble Hill is somewhat an RV version of a mobile-home park. After 5:30 or so, we saw a lot of homecoming traffic, and soon the WIFI, which was slow to start with, ground to a halt, unusable. In all, it was quiet at night, affordable and conveniently sit

First, the owners were very nice and gave a full refund after our issue. Now, I have no idea what they purchased or inherited but this place is not for a vacationing family. Very little to do other than set around and look at the pond. Which is very nice at night with the lights. The bathrooms near us were closed for renovations. The bathhouse had 3 shower/toilets and only 2 working showers. My son took a shower and I got in after for mine. The water was so hot it almost burned me on the lowest setting. Moved to the other one and it was fine. Stayed the night and got up for breakfast. While eating I heard some noises at the back of the camper. Went out and there was sewage spewing back into our line. It calmed down enough for me to unhook our hose and cap it off. Called the office number a
