Club Wyndham Star Island

Our stay at Wyndham Star Island was very disappointing. From the start, the security guard at the entrance was rude and confrontational, questioning our driver and becoming upset because we had not checked in yet. His behavior was unprofessional and unwelcoming. Check-in was just as unpleasant. The front desk employee seemed annoyed and made us feel like a burden rather than guests. No bell service or luggage carts were offered, even though we arrived late at night and were assigned to one of the furthest buildings on the property. We had to carry all of our luggage in the dark. The room had multiple issues: a very loud refrigerator, non-functioning tub jets, and a dangerously slippery tub where I slipped and injured my shoulder. We were also charged for extra towels, and the bed sheet

Terrible hotel, actually worst hotel EVER! The rooms are a complete disaster. We had to move rooms passed midnight THREE TIMES! The A/C never worked, and the bathroom overflowed. What’s advertised as a 1 King + 2 Doubles is actually two separate rooms, one normal sized room and one tiny box. We specifically wanted one suite since we were traveling with our kids, and this setup was awful. On top of that, the keys never worked, and the two-room layout is just terrible. Despite all of these issues, the hotel did nothing to make it right. Completely unacceptable for a resort. You’re better off somewhere else. Our stay was a nightmare. YOURE BETTER OFF SOMEWHERE ELSE! This resort is a nightmare!

The resort itself was wonderful. We really enjoyed it. However, the sales team was horrific. They refused to believe that I couldn't afford the monthly payment, and repeatedly told me I had great credit. While this is true, I have no desire to ruin it by using kit to pay for a vacation!

This is one of our favorite vacation location. Lakes are gorgeous. There are activities for children, adolescents and adults. If you like tennis, golf, basket ball. Arcade and Gym....Traditional luxury spa and self service spa! There may be more.....very kind staff!

Fantastic place to stay. There is a whole deli/general store right at the pool, which is also beautiful as well. Beds are gigantic and very comfortable. Also the resort has wonderful positioning in regards to points of interest around central Florida.
