Customer Reviews
This place was amazing. Every single person who worked there was so nice, happy and helpful. The elevator was out during our stay - but they made us aware of this well ahead of time. We kept the reservation anyway. They carried all the luggage for us and even a grocery order. The valet service is top tier and all of them were also so incredible. The room had everything you could need. Complimentary laundry, coffee in the morning, and lots of helpful reviews and suggestions for local places. You can tell everyone there loves San Diego and we see why! The location was perfectly central to everything you'd want to do and see or a very short uber. The nightlife in the Gaslamp Quarter is amazing and everything is open late. We had a 4 year old so we didn't go into any bars or anything but the

We were very pleased with our stay at the Wyndham. Everything (rooms/hotel interior) looked brand new, the rooms were spacious, the staff was very friendly and the location was excellent for our itinerary. There were multiple concierges on staff 12 hours a day who rotated through, and all were very helpful and knowledgeable. The property is located in the heart of the Gaslamp district which is full of restaurants, bars and a few night clubs. There is any type of food you want in walking distance (and many hotels with rooftop bars) - and you're only 10 mins by Uber to either the bay (Seaport Village/USS Midway Museum or the zoo/museums/Balboa Park. Our stay spanned Sun through Sat. Fri night it was a bit noisy late at night due to late night partiers, but that was the exception. We would s
The rooms and amenities are very comfortable and have been updated. The location is great and in close proximity to the freeway and local attractions, but the homeless were a bit out of hand during the weekend of our stay. Speed of retrieving your vehicle from valet has improved although some of their attitudes haven't.
The location was perfect, and the staff, oh the staff was so beautifully friendly, anticipatory, and pleasant. From the front desk staff always smiling and welcoming us to the security and bellhop out front, they always considered us and were so helpful. Also, Cassidy and Donald set us up for success with all the best spots and even helped us out externally when they weren’t on the clock. They are so caring, and Lucie and I are very much grateful.
