Clinton Hotel South Beach

The front desk staff is super nice and we’re extremely helpful! The location is great, however, the hotel is definitely old and needs some maintenance. The vintage charm is cute, but the elevator is very small (holds 2 people with luggage comfortably, but not big enough for more than that), the floors are very uneven and everything rolls, and while the bathroom in our room is large, the shower curtain didn’t reach the floor and there was no edge so water would flood the bathroom after every shower. We had to request towels multiple times just to dry the floors. The bathroom sink was small and there was no vanity or space to get ready. There were no outlets near the mirrors so I had to use my phone as a mirror to do my hair. The room was clean when we arrived, but stunk of bleach so bad we

The hotel was recommended by a travel agent instead of the Fontainebleau. Now i wish i’d paid the extra money for the upgrade. I wanted a boutique hotel that was easy to come and go from vs crossing football fields to get to the pool. The Clinton pros: two blocks from the beach and happening strip of restaurants and muscle beach, shopping and other conveniences. Staff is very friendly. |Cons: hotel is dated, elevator doesn’t work but staff offered to carry bags, there is migraine-inducing music pounding outside our rooms Friday (and tomorrow) from 8-10 for a ‘party’. Seems like the hotel is more interested in the party than the comfort of its other guests. Poor room configuration leaves little room to move around and store luggage. Coffee maker doesn’t work (no tea bags). No gym/being reno

Great location. In walking distance from South Beach (2 blocks). Close enough to the beach but far enough not to hear the evening / night life which can be loud. Hotel is lovely and clean with very welcoming polite staff. ready to help. Only thing is the swimming pool isn't vey inviting. It's a very very small pool for the size of the hotel. You also have to walk through the bar/restaurant of the hotel to access it. There were quite a lot of people having drinks around the pool when we went, which made it even less attractive. It's more a feature rather than something you use. Overall great stay.

I had a fantastic stay for a week. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Amanda and Abby Were friendly, professional and accommodating with every request I had. The entire staff at the restaurant Went above and beyond moving chairs and umbrellas to ensure we got Sun. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I can't wait to come back.

First of all: the location is obviously incredible. Only two blocks from the beach, with a massive amount of great restaurants and bars nearby. At nighttime it can get loud but we expected that at this location. One more thing that really stood out positively was the hotel‘s offer of two free changing alcoholic drinks per person every night in their bar. Awesome idea and a great thing. The rooms themselves were okay. Nothing special but had what you need. However, the pictures on google are definitely not what you get. Now, the reason we give three stars: The first star I am taking for the basically nonexistent wifi.
