Clevelander South Beach

Michelle is excellent, a rare gem, provided top quality service - very warm, kind, helpful, customer-focused and friendly. She made me feel welcome every day during my stay at the Clevelander South Beach Hotel in Miami | I went on a bus and boat tour of Miami Beach and Michelle arranged my pick up and went above and beyond to show me where to wait for the bus. She provided me with information on the hotel facilities and how to get around Miami Beach. I really enjoy my stay in Miami Beach.|Joel, the manager is a gem - his customer service is excellent. He is warm, compassionate and very customer focused and friendly. I had an initial hiccup on arrival and he resolved the matter immediately and provided top quality customer service. The lady at the front desk- Michelle was amazing. She was very kind, professional and very helpful, unlike other hotels in Miami. Location of the hotel is perfect ,right in front of the ocean and plus the staff being so helpful and kind made our stay worth it. Definitely would recommend coming here and would come back!

A fun place to hang at but not sleep at. The rooms are tiny and not cozy. We couldn't control the thermostat. The toilet is literally next to the head of the bed. We couldn't hear the TV over the music which blasts until 2am(weekday)or 5am (weekend). Joseph was working the front desk and saved our vacation by moving us across the street to the sister location of Essex House which was perfect. He also was very welcoming and helpful with information. He made sure we were happy throughout our stay. Much less can be said about the guest services manager of the Clevelander who ignored us until he saw someone else helped us. Then, although guests of Essex have access to the clevelander, that manager had us escorted off the property and called it tresspassing.

The Clevelander is one of the most legendary spots on Ocean Drive. If you want the true Ocean Drive vibe — music, palm trees, neon lights, and the ocean breeze all in one place — the Clevelander is one of the most iconic stops in Miami Beach. — C

Positive: All the staff at front desk were exceptionally helpful. Hotel employee took care of everything promptly & gave right directions to venture out. Negative: None
