Clarion Inn & Suites at the Outlets of Lake George

My daughter and I went for an overnight stay a few months ago in November . I booked a room at Clarion so we could visit the outlets after attending to some family related work we needed to do in the upstate area . Upon arriving I was noticing air perfume which I thought was quite pleasant . After checking in & getting to our room I noticed the hallway walls were marked with many scuffs and looked like it was just old . Then the mildew smell started to become evident . We went into our room and it appeared nice at first . The toilet & bathroom however were not not cleaned and hair and use evidence left behind . My daughter opened the bed to find a long hair and sheets that were obviously not changed . The mirror had a handprint on it & smeared leavings . A Reese’s wrapper was in a corner

We've stayed here many times in the past with good results. This trip was horrible there were many devices like lamps, phone, clock etc. Unplugged. Some of the bedroom furniture was asked. The carpets real have to be renovated throughout. The eggs and sausages were luke warm. We get a two bedroom suite and the king bedroom tv didn't work, we called the desk and never heard back. The toilet flush had to be held down to get it to flush. I like the site because it works well for our visit.|It really needs a bit of upgrading and more attention to detail by staff. At over 70 I dont want to crawl over stands to plug in phones and lamps or move furniture.

Dear Choice Hotels Guest Relations Team, I am writing to formally report a very disappointing experience during me and my parents stay at the Clarion Inn & Suites at the Outlets of Lake George on December 26, under the reservation name Joe Rumeo. My family and I have been staying at this property for over 20 years, which makes this experience especially troubling. We have remained loyal guests because we trusted the standards associated with the Clarion brand and Choice Hotels. Unfortunately, this stay fell far below those expectations. Upon check-in, we were assigned Room 135. The toilet in this room was clearly unsanitary, with visible urine residue and hair in the bowl. Picture attached. This was unacceptable and immediately raised serious concerns regarding housekeeping practices.

We've been staying at this hotel pretty consistently over the last few years. We've always had a great experience until now. The rooms were not properly cleaned or vaccumed. The ceilings in the bathrooms had visible black mold and heavy thick dust covering the vent (that feels like a fire hassard). The rooms are non smoking yet there's a heavy weed smell throughout the halls. To add to the disappointment; the pool was set to open at 9am and my kids (because they are kids) were extremely eager to get in the pool bright and early. We ended up going to the front desk just after 9am to ask them if it would be opent soon; without hesitation they opened the pool and then proceeded to add chlorine as our kids were getting in... We spoke to the staff upon our checkout. The room was not clean. The toilet had mildew in the bowl. The tub was not clean. The jacuzzi was not clean. The carpet was not vacuumed. There were seeds and granola like crumbs on the floor. The sheets were not clean. The bathroom floor had dried urine on the tile around the toilet. The bathroom tile floor was sticky. Garbages were emptied. Mirrors were clean. The loveseat is broken and not able to sit on. The desk chair was fine as was the desk. The mattress was comfortable. I killed a bug crawling on the bed. comforter. The breakfast room was clean and well stocked. The staff was nice. We stay at this hotel every year for 5 days for the past 10 yrs. I doubt we will be staying again. It was disturbing how unclean this room was. I
