Clarion Hotel & Suites Riverfront

This was our first time here at splash waterpark. I thought it was very small but suitable for little ones. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and nice. My only complaint is that there was so much noise in the hallways all night and kids banging on the walls making it hard to sleep. This was also one of the best continental breatlkfast in a hotel. We would definitely come back

We went for a weekend as a family getaway. We stayed in a suit. The kids loved the room and we found it spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The kids loved everything about Splash, the indoor water park attached to the hotel. We highly recommend this as an option for families. The hotel is also walking distance to lots of restaurants, shops, and the children’s museum

The person who checked us in made it a point to say that the hotel is smoke free, but we smelled smoke in the hallways persistently during a 4 night stay. The rooms, while adequate, could use a serious re-fresh - including the bathroom. Our room had a door leading the room next door that was evidently permanently removed in a rather cheap and shoddy fashion. While the room was large, it was not particularly comfortable. The lounge chair upholstery was falling apart. There should have been two comfortable chairs rather than one. It would have been nice to have extra blankets for the bed. The heat was so loud it woke me up during the night. The insulation to between rooms was pretty much missing - we could hear conversations at 4am. The breakfast did not have healthy options. Clean and spacious rooms/bathrooms! Delicious meals in all 3 food options (bar and grill, formal restaurant and free breakfast). Close to everything and beautiful view of Oswego water and pretty bridge! Friendly staff, easy check in and check out process. Good parking lot with overhead drive-thru “tunnel” for drop off/pick up.

The hotel overall was nice However Steamers restaurant needs some work party of 4 adults 2 children Friday night place was steady but not crazy busy we waited 1 hour and 40 minutes to receive our dinner! And one meal needed to be remade due to walnuts in the salad and she has a nut allergy! No bread to hold us over which made for a longer wait Never received a reason for this - if it wasn't for the children, everyone being exhausted I would have left The rooms were nice, breakfast buffet was great and the children loved the splash area
