CIVILIAN Hotel

I recently stayed at The Civilian Hotel in New York and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location was incredibly convenient — right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance to so many attractions, restaurants, and theaters. It made getting around Manhattan effortless. The hotel itself is beautiful. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the view from our room — it was truly amazing and added such a special touch to our trip. Waking up to that skyline view each morning was unforgettable. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting New York City. It was a fantastic experience all around, and I can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely stunning hotel with a gorgeous Gatsby-theater vibe! The decor is beautiful and the entire place was spotlessly clean. The staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant, making us feel welcomed immediately. Our accommodations were top-notch, very comfortable and well-appointed. We loved having an onsite restaurant, a fantastic cocktail bar, and a rooftop club (though it was too cold to enjoy the balcony at -4 degrees!). The location is unbeatable, just two blocks from Times Square and the subway, with restaurants and stores right next door. The price point for what we got was more than affordable. I enjoyed my birthday trip. I’m definitely staying here again!

I’d really like to keep this hotel. But it’s too good not to share honestly. The staff here is super friendly and very accommodating. We stayed here on our honeymoon and they went above and beyond to celebrate with us and made us feel so special. The room is small, but it’s functional enough for two people. Though it would be more comfortable with just one person. Just something to know, not a ton of bathroom privacy but I suppose you’ll have that in majority of the New York City hotels. Location is fantastic, especially if you’re a tourist and looking to go to Broadway shows or visit times Square or do some shopping. We did have some trouble navigating the thermostat. I don’t know that we were ever able to control it. So it got kind of toasty in our room, but we were able to crack a windo

I had a FANTASTIC stay in NYC at CIVILIAN hotel. For a solo traveler, I wanted a room near Times Square with a nice view near all the action. That’s exactly what I got. With a room on the 21st floor, the view of the city was absolutely breathtaking in the morning & evenings. Room was comfortable & had a tv so I could catch up on the Winter Olympics at night after walking about all day. The staff was kind & held onto my bags for me when I arrived early the day of check in. The bars on site were classy & beautiful, and the amenities were great (they even had a water bottle refill station in the hall). I will definitely be coming back for my next NYC trip, you just can’t beat the location, price, & style!
