Pro: Modern hotel. Huge lower lobby area for dining and hanging our. Comes in handy since the rooms are on the smaller end Rooftop bar have amazing view! A MUST see. Amazing rainfall shower. Bedding very comfortable. Con: Room is small but meet all my needs. The sink is in the hall. The bathroom and shower is in the hall studio style. The only complain i have is lack of blackout curtin! Even with the night curtain down, too much daylight comes in for my taste. Overall: wonderful stay. Willdefinitely come back.

I enjoyed my stay here, the hotel is easily accessible by rail, road and on foot. I liked the neighbourhood and felt quite safe (within reason) walking around at night, as a woman on my own. Check in was simple and efficient, I liked being able to select the view from the window my room. I choose to look over Soho not Brooklyn. There are also FANTASTIC views from the rooftop bar. The gym was clean and had a good variety of equipment that would suit most people's requirements. I didn't eat their breakfast but it looked pretty good. What I really loved is that they have a microwave, crockery and cutlery available to guests at all times. I find the food portions in the USA to be really large and I almost never finish my food when I'm eating out, having a mini fridge in my room and faciliti

Very modern, maybe a little too "modern" - had almost a "back hallway of a music venue" feeling at places. Everything was clean and new but to be honest some pieces seemed a little cheaply made. The view was nice. Room was small and bed was in the window. Very convenient to the Bowery Ballroom for which I'd highly recommend staying here. D train is convenient to get uptown. I'd stay here again.

CitizenM is a modern and hip hotel with great views of Manhattan from the roof top bar. Note rooms are compact and relatively small but has all that is needed for modern travelers. Note rooms are not suitable for young families. Safety outside of the hotel is a little concern. Otherwise good location in lower Manhattan.
